Our emergency telephone service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to guarantee your peace of mind during your stay in Mallorca. Waiting times may vary depending on the availability of doctors in each area, the distance from the patient or the type of emergency and demand for the service. At IMS Medical we promise to send a doctor who speaks the same language as the patient as soon as possible. We also manage the direct payment with the international medical insurance contracted by the person. If an ambulance or transfer to a medical centre is necessary, we will coordinate the transport and medical care required.
The doctors at IMS Medical in Palma have the basic diagnostic tools at their disposal. If more comprehensive tests are necessary, they will direct the patient to the nearest medical centre. If necessary, we can carry out certain tests at the patient’s location: electrocardiogram, blood tests, pregnancy or allergy tests… We also carry out glucose and urine tests on site. IMS Medical doctors will prescribe the prescriptions and medicines required and, if the patient needs surgery or more specialised care, we will coordinate their transfer to a hospital or medical centre of reference for treatment.
Yes, the doctors can provide the medicines that the patient needs. We also have a home delivery service for medicines so that the patient can stay in the hotel, villa or holiday flat if they are unable to go to a pharmacy. This is a very practical service because, depending on the time of day, it is difficult to find an open pharmacy nearby.
Of course, it is possible to schedule non-urgent consultations with IMS Medical. We have an appointment service. Yes, we work with various insurance companies so that your medical care in Palma de Mallorca is backed up.
